Repowering plays an important role in using wind potential on land more efficiently. Older, smaller plants with low capacity are replaced with new, high-performance plants of the multi-megawatt class. It is important that staff have sufficient know-how to ensure smooth processing of repowering.
Experience in the multifaceted aspects of dismantling planning, rehabilitation, logistics and recycling of old plants is elementary for project management. Issues concerning permits, regulations and safety also require appropriate expertise. Older projects in particular often have a number of pitfalls which may become a real problem in the case of bad planning.
In 2011 we dismantled and marketed more than 50 plants, 10 of which were of the type E-70. Our customers appreciate reliable handling of their repowering project from under one roof – from dismantling through to recycling.
